Mick is an award-winning Design Director and hands-on product innovation leader based in New York City. He has led in-house design and R&D teams, served as a jury member for the Lexus Design Award and others, showcased work at major exhibitions across Europe, the U.S., and Asia, and contributed to international social and sustainable design initiatives in India and Africa.

He works across multiple industries, designing products and leading teams from concept to production. Numerous projects he created became market bestsellers and “Product of the Year” winners, earning recognition from iF, Red Dot, the James Dyson Award, and other top design juries. His work and interviews have been featured in major media, including Huffington Post, Yahoo Finance, Yanko Design, Designboom, and other major media. His expertise spans research, concept development, engineering, manufacturing technologies, and design leadership for global brands and fast-moving startups.
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Informatics in Design; additional studies in Industrial Design at the University of Architecture and Arts, supported by a solid academic foundation in fine arts, art and fashion history, painting, and academic drawing. Actively practicing since 2009. Lecturing, teaching, and serving as a jury member for awards since 2016.
