Paycon Smart Picking Terminal is an intelligent upgrade for the standard shopping cart, designed to radically improve picking accuracy and customer satisfaction. The system orients the picker in space, builds the shortest route through the store, and continuously recalculates paths in real time. It removes the need for manual product updates, immediately notifies when an item is out of stock, and even monitors the picker’s speed. A seamless, device-driven solution that transforms routine picking into a fast, efficient, and error-free process.

Role: Lead Industrial Designer (hands-on).

Scope: Ergonomic research, industrial design, material exploration, prototyping, user testing, DFM.

Impact: Improved picking accuracy, sped up order fulfillment, reduced errors, and delivered a smoother, more efficient user experience across the entire picking process.
