Year of design: 2020 and 2023

A modular POS system designed for maximum flexibility and long-term use. The device supports both 13″ and 15″ displays, which can be swapped, rotated between landscape and portrait modes, and replaced by the user without tools. The internal hardware module is also fully serviceable and upgradable, giving retailers the ability to customize performance and extend product lifespan. The result is a slim, elegant, and highly functional POS computer engineered for real-world environments.

Role: Design Director, Industrial Design & Product Lead (hands-on).
Scope: Research, industrial design & CMF, DFM coordination, prototyping, manufacturing supervision and support and promo visuals.
Impact: Enabled a versatile, multi-SKU POS platform, reducing maintenance costs and expanding commercial opportunities for retail and hospitality markets..

In 2019-20 Mick designed Nomia M1 POS Computer, later it had beed finalized by one of the client’s Chinese supplier and Small Butch Production had been produced for tests in real shops and restaurants.
